About Us

The Touch of Glass Corvette Club of Lake County was founded on June 7, 2009, by a group of Corvette enthusiasts who felt there was a need for a club in the Eustis, Mount Dora, and Tavares area.  That group became the steering committee and met numerous times to create a club name, logo, and develop a set of Bi-Laws. Vann Gannaway Chevrolet agreed to be the club sponsor, and offered  space at their dealership for the club to hold its meetings.

The first official  meeting of the club was held on September 9, 2009, with a handfull of enthusiastic Corvette owners in attendance.  Only ten months later the club has  grown to 27 members. In December the steering committee was replaced by elected officers.  To date the club has participated in Vettefest, the Mount Dora Christmas parade, the NCRS event held at Old Town in Kissimmee, Georgefest in Eustis, and many other local car cruises.

The Touch of Glass Corvette Club meets at 7 P.M. the second Tuesday of each month at Vann Gannaway Chevrolet on 441 in Eustis, Florida.  The meetings are held in the room located above their customer waiting room, which is in the building behind the showroom.  Anyone who owns or intends to purchase a Corvette in the near future is invited to attend.

Hope to see you there!
